WHAT TO BRING
- Wisconsin fishing license with Great Lakes Trout and Salmon stamp.
If a Two-Day Sports Fishing License for residents or non-residents is
purchased at a fee of $14, then a Great Lakes Trout and Salmon
Stamp is NOT REQUIRED. The Two-Day Sports Fishing License is
usually the most economical license for non-residents. You may
purchase numerous Two-Day Sports Fishing Licenses if you plan on
fishing more than 2-days. Non-residents 15 years of age and younger
are not required to carry a license while fishing with a properly
licensed adult or guardian. Licenses may be purchased at sporting goods and bait stores, some gas
stations or online at: dnr.wi.gov
- Soft soled, non-marking shoes
- Sun screen, hat, sunglasses, medications if needed, and a camera to catch those memorable moments
- Large cooler to transport your catch home
- Warm clothing and rain gear
- Food and beverages
- Optional: Your favorite and most comfortable life jacket. We provide United States Coast Guard approved life jackets in both adult and child sizes which are equipped with whistles and lights. Some people find these USCG life jackets bulky and prefer wearing their own. Wisconsin law requires children 12 years and younger to be wearing a life jacket while boating.
